Operation
  1. Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the meter. All tags will be displayed for 1 second.
  2. Err CAL is displayed when no calibration is available. Then the percentage of remaining battery life is indicated by 1 second. The meter will go into measurement mode.
  3. Measurement: Place the probe (included in the Setup mode, within the tip 45mm area) at the desired depth to keep the electrode immersed and the pH value will be displayed on the LCD screen. 
Calibration
In the measurement mode, press and hold the ON/OFF button until off is replaced by cal. Release the button. Single-point calibration and two-point calibration are available.
  1. Single point calibration 
Place the electrode in the pH6.86 standard solution and operate the meter to enter the calibration mode. After the reading is stable, tap the ON/OFF button to complete the standard solution calibration of the meter.
  1. Two-point calibration
Place the electrode in the pH6.86 standard solution and operate the meter to enter the calibration mode. After the reading is stable, tap the ON/OFF button to complete the pH6.86 standard solution calibration.
After cleaning the electrodes in distilled water, dry them with filter paper.
Place the electrode in the pH4.01 and operate the meter to enter the calibration mode. After the reading is stable, tap the ON/OFF button to complete the pH4.01 standard solution calibration of the meter.
WRNG is displayed if the pH value of standard solution is not recognized or beyond the acceptable range.
ESC is displayed if the standard is recognized until the reading is stable and calibrated. Place the electrode in the pH6.86 standard solution and operate the meter to enter the calibration mode. 
Measurement mode
Power on to measure.
Setup mode
  1. In measurement mode, remove the battery cover and click the Setup button. The meter will enter the Setup mode.
  2. In Setup mode, long press the ON/OFF button to switch the interface of temperature unit setting, automatic shutdown setting, and hold mode setting.
  3. In the Setup mode, long press the ON/OFF button to enter the interface of temperature units setting. Touch the on/off button to switch the temperature units.
  4. In the Setup mode, long press the ON/OFF button to enter the interface of automatic shutdown time setting. Touch the ON/OFF button to select 8 minutes, 60 minutes and disable the automatic shutdown.
  5. In the Setup mode, long press the ON/OFF button to enter the hold mode. Touch the ON/OFF button to turn off hold mode, turn on hold mode and STAB mode.
  6. In the Setup mode, long press the ON/OFF button to return to the measurement mode.
HOLD mode
  1. HOLD mode can be  only when the HOLD parameter is set to Yes.
  2. In measurement mode, press the on/off button until a brief hold appears on the auxiliary display and the reading on the LCD stabilizes.
  3. HOLD will change with the temperature value until the on/off button is pressed.
  4. MEAS appears and the meter returns to measurement mode.
STAB mode
  1. STAB mode can be  only when the HOLD parameter is set to STAB.
  2. Press the ON/OFF button and WAIT appears on the screen.
  3. The parameters are stable on the screen after stabilization. Before the stabilization is completed, the stability indicator will be displayed on the LCD.
  4. Short press the ON/OFF button to exit STAB mode and return to measurement mode. MEAS appears and the meter returns to measurement mode.
  5. Short press the on/off button to take another STAB measurement.
  6. If HOLD appears, the measured stable values (PH and temp) have been retained and kept on the display.
 
Battery replacement
Replace the battery when percentage indicator approaches 0%. Turn the battery cover located on the back of the meter counterclockwise to unlock. Remove cover and replace with new battery + side facing up. Push the ON/OFF button to start the meter.

These instruments are warranted from all defects in material and manufacturing or a period of one year from the date of purchase. If during this period, the repair or the replacement of parts are required where the damage is not due to negligence or erroneous operation by user, please return the parts to either dealer or our offices, and the repair will be effected free of charge.
